Halloween Board Game Party

Board games really are an exercise in extremes, aren't they? They can bring out the very best or the very worst in us, depending on whether we’re losing or not, but either way, it is always extremely fun for the whole family. The Chow Public Market and Eatery is putting on a fun Halloween themed board game party for the whole family. They will be doing seasonal themed board games and costumes are encouraged but not required. More information here: https://www.meetup.com/healing-games-and-activities/events/288846020/

A Wilderness Themed Halloween Party!

The EverWild Forest School of Boise is putting on a wild family friendly fest this year. Join them on Saturday, October 29th at Veteran’s Memorial Park from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Put on your costumes, grab a picnic blanket, and your creativity and get ready for a unique Halloween experience. Families will gather and form a large circle, laying down our picnic blankets. Decorate and light up your blankets any way you like! As the Sun starts to set, all the kids, in their costumes, will begin to travel the circle, stopping at each family’s blanket to get a treat.

Here’s the fun part - treats will be all natural objects! Think rocks, acorns, feathers, seashells, seaglass… Or if you have the need to create - homemade magic wands, bookmarks, jingle bell bracelets! Get creative and have fun!
